Handytool
The person behind the tools

Hi, I'm Alex.

I'm a software developer. I built Handytool because I kept uploading files to random sites to do something a browser could handle natively — and I wanted to fix that.

01

The mission

Every tool on Handytool runs in your browser. Files never leave your device. No queues, no accounts. For the small number of AI-powered features that genuinely need a server, they're labelled clearly before you touch a file.

02

How it's built

Handytool is a Next.js app built on WebAssembly, the HTML5 Canvas API, and the Web Audio API. The goal is a web tool that feels as fast and private as a native app, without ever asking you to sign in.
